1. Service Description

Perfect Dose provides educational weight-based dosing references for common over-the-counter pediatric medications. It is designed to help parents and caregivers quickly estimate appropriate medication doses based on a child's weight.

This service is provided by DoseSureOS ("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using Perfect Dose, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.

2. Medical Disclaimer

THIS IS NOT MEDICAL ADVICE. Perfect Dose is an educational reference tool only. It does not provide, and is not intended to provide, medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. The information provided is based on standard pediatric dosing guidelines and should not replace the advice of a qualified healthcare professional.

Perfect Dose is NOT a diagnostic tool. Do not use it to diagnose medical conditions. If your child appears seriously ill, seek immediate medical care.

Always verify medications and dosing with your pediatrician or other qualified healthcare provider before administering any medication to a child.

3. Physician Attribution

Perfect Dose was designed by Kurt Hansen, MD, an emergency physician. While this background informs the tool's design, Dr. Hansen does not serve as your personal physician through this application, and using this tool does not create a physician-patient relationship with Dr. Hansen or DoseSureOS.

4. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Always verify dosing information with your pediatrician or healthcare professional before administering medication
  • Not rely on Perfect Dose as a substitute for professional medical advice
  • Seek immediate medical attention if your child appears seriously ill or is experiencing a medical emergency
  • Provide accurate weight information for calculations
  • Read and follow all medication labels and instructions from your pharmacist or prescriber

5. Prohibited Uses

You may not:

  • Resell, redistribute, or sublicense access to Perfect Dose
  • Incorporate Perfect Dose or its data into other medical products, clinical decision support systems, or electronic health records
  • Use Perfect Dose as part of a service that competes with DoseSureOS
  • Attempt to extract or copy the underlying dosing data for purposes outside this service
  • Use the service in a manner that interferes with its proper operation

6. Subscription Terms

If premium features are added in the future:

  • Subscriptions are billed on a monthly or annual basis as selected at purchase
  • All payments are processed by Stripe; your payment data is governed by Stripe's Privacy Policy
  • Subscriptions may be cancelled at any time; cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period
  • We reserve the right to modify subscription pricing with 30 days' notice

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, DoseSureOS and its operators shall not be liable for any damages arising from:

  • Use of or reliance on Perfect Dose dosing information
  • Any medication administered based on information from this tool
  • Any inaccuracies in the dosing reference data
  • Inability to access the service

The tool is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

8. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of the United States.
