No PHI Storage

Perfect Dose does not store Protected Health Information (PHI) as defined under HIPAA.

We do not collect, store, or transmit any medical records, diagnoses, or patient-identifiable health information. Perfect Dose is designed as a general consumer reference tool — it does not function as a clinical health record system or electronic health record (EHR).

Client-Side Calculation

All dose calculations are performed client-side in the user's browser. When you use Perfect Dose:

Weight and age inputs are processed entirely within your browser
No health data is transmitted to our servers during calculation
No health data is stored on our infrastructure at any point

From a technical standpoint, no PHI enters our systems — there is nothing to secure, encrypt, or audit under HIPAA requirements.

For Healthcare Providers

Clinical use note: If you are a healthcare provider using this tool with patients, note that this tool is designed for general consumer reference and is not HIPAA-compliant as a clinical tool. Healthcare providers should use HIPAA-compliant clinical decision support systems for patient care. Do not enter identifiable patient information into Perfect Dose.

Data We Do Collect

Our only data collection is aggregate usage analytics — how many calculations are performed per medication and approximate age ranges. This data:

Contains no names, no dates of birth, no health records, and no identifying information
Is used solely to understand aggregate usage patterns and improve the product
Is not linked to any individual user or device
